How to calculate Quantity of slab Concrete
First we need to calculate concrete or slab volume
For example dimension is
Length = 15 Ft
Width = 12 Ft
Thickness = 0.5 Ft
Volume Formula is > Length × Width × Thickness
15 × 12 × 0.5 = 91 CFT
Slab Concrete Volume is = 90 CFT
Now we need to multiply dry volume to Slab concrete Volume
Formula > Wet volume × dry volume
The Dry Volume is = 1.54
Wet Volume is = 90 CFT
1.54 × 90 = 138.6 CFT
Dry Volume is = 138.6 CFT
Now we will calculate the Quantity of Cement, Quantity of Sand and Quantity of Aggregate
For example Ratio is 1 : 2 : 4
Sum of Ratio = 1 + 2 + 4 = 7
Quantity of Cement
Quantity of cement = dry volume × (1/7)
Quantity of cement = 138.6 × (1/7) = 19.8 CFT
Quantity of Cement in Bags = 19.8 × 40.7816 = 807.475 Kg
1 CFT Cement = 40.7816 kg
Total Cement Weight is = 807.475 Kg
1 Cement Bag Weight is = 50 kg
Quantity of Cement in bags = total kg of cement / 1 cement bag
Quantity of Cement bags = 807.475 / 50 = 16.14 bags
Quantity of Sand
Quantity of Sand = dry volume × (2/7)
Quantity of Sand = 138.6 × (2/7) = 39.6 CFT Sand
Quantity of Aggregates
Quantity of Aggregates = dry volume × (4/7)
Quantity of Aggregates = 138.6 × (4/7) = 79.2 CFT Aggregates
