How to Calculate Number of Bricks With Mortar

Number of Bricks With Mortar

 Bricks Size = length 9", Width 4.5", Height 3"

Dimension of Wall

         Length          = 10 Ft
         Width            =  5 ft
         Thickness    =   .75 Ft

Volume  =  37.5 CFT

Number of Bricks = 1350/100 × 37.5 = 507 Bricks

Sum of Ratio  1:4

Dry volume = 30/100×37.5 = 11.25 CFT

Cement = 1/5×11.25  2.25 CFT
Cement begs =  2.25/1.25    (1.8 begs)

Sand =  4/5×11.25 = 9 CFT
